How to keep traybakes fresh for longer
Tips
Traybakes are generous by nature, so here is how to keep them at their best.
Keep everything in an airtight container in a cool, dry cupboard rather than the fridge — the fridge dries sponge out and dulls chocolate. Caramel-based bakes like millionaire's shortbread are happiest at room temperature.
If you would like to keep some for later, most of our bakes freeze beautifully. Wrap individual squares, freeze for up to a month and let them come back to room temperature before eating.
